Update your Contact Information to receive a voting package:

Please contact the Membership Office to ensure your contact information is current so that you can be sent a Voter Package!  Your updated contact information will be sent to the Election Officer.

Important Dates concerning this year's election!

 

 

 

Friday, June 1

  • Deadline to update your Contact Information to receive a voting package.  Please ensure your contact information is current so that you can be sent a voter package! 

 

Monday, June 4

  • Posting of nomination meeting, voters list and election date in the community
  • Notices will be mailed out to off-reserve members.

 

Wednesday, July 4

  • Nomination Meeting from 6-9pm at the New Community Hall

 

Monday, July 9

  • Last day for candidates to withdraw their nominations.

 

Thursday, July 12

  • Posting of Polling Notice
  • Voting packages (containing Notice of Poll, Ballots, Letter, etc.) mailed out to off-reserve voting members. 

 

Wednesday, August 15

  • Election Day at the Millenium Centre.  Polls open at 9am and close at 8pm.  

 

Thursday, August 16

  • Election Officer will inform off-reserve members of the elected Chief and Council.
