Fall Youth Camp
Posted: Oct 13, 2021

In our First Nations communities, we feel it is very crucial that our youth have the opportunity to unplug and rejuvenate. We want to give them an opportunity to enjoy themselves with their peers in a more relaxed setting while participating in a team-building environment to foster a stronger sense of community.

As a result, Sagamok Anishnawbek is presenting a Youth Wellness Weekend for ages 12-24.

We are working with Mukwa Adventures to host the Youth Wellness Weekend, which will take place October 15-17, 2021. Space is limited to 25 participants, so be sure to register early to secure your spot. Priority will be given to those who did not participate in August’s session so please be sure to register quickly as it is likely there will be a waiting list again.

For registration, and more information, please contact Misty Bob at 705-865-2192 Ext: 207 or by email: bob_misty@sagamok.ca No Facebook reservations. Please contact Misty directly.

Mukwa Adventures will be guiding the youth on a safe, fun-filled adventure featuring exciting activities such as ATV Tours, Canoeing, Fireworks, Ecosystem Walk, Glow Party, Animal Calling, Survival Skills, and Archery.

The adventure is fully chaperoned for the duration of the trip and takes place at Fort La Cloche.

There is no cost to participate in this adventure, and all food and drinks are also provided. It is important to note, COVID-19 Safety Guidelines for Day Camps by the Ministry of Health will be in effect. Registered campers must pass Active Screening upon arrival.
