From Our November 2016 Shkadin Giizis issue of the Sagamok Anishnawbek News:  FIND it HERE!

"Since September 20, 2016 Sagamok Anishnawbek and Canadore College have been running an Entrepreneurship Training Program. The students registered in the program are registered students of Canadore College and are earning college credit courses in Marketing and Entrepreneurship Studies. The Students have been working diligently and thus far all are successful towards developing a completed Business Plan. As the Community Program Assistant/Academic Technician it has been a privilege to serve the Students and Instructor. I am very proud of all the Students. We only have about 3 weeks left in the program and I just wanted to say that we are very fortunate here in Sagamok especially in the area of human resources. I always believe that the greatest asset we have here in Sagamok is our people. I am so thankful to those business owners, Economic Development Officer's and business services who have taken the time to educate and assist the Students. Chi-miigwetch"
