SNOW REMOVAL Tender

Saswin Building, Nogdawindamin Building, Fitness/Youth Centre, Water Tower & 3 Pumphouses

Issued: Wednesday, November 14, 2018

Tender Submission Deadline:  Wedneday, November 28, 2018 at 12:00pm 

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

1.   Tender packages can be obtained from the Administration office building (4007 Espaniel Road) at the Main Reception Area.

 

2.   The contractor shall provide the following:  a copy of their Registered Business; a current WSIB Clearance Certificate; and a copy of Liability Insurance coverage (minimum of $1.0 million).

 

3.   The contractor shall provide a work - Statement of Qualifications (snow removal).

 

4.   All work will comply and adhered to pertinent codes; guidelines, legislative requirements and manufacturers specifications for Health and Safety for all.

 

5.   In the event that a related issue arises, the Planning & Infrastructure Unit representative’s judgment shall prevail.

 

6.   Lowest bid will not necessarily be the accepted bid.  Factors such as time of completion, experience, previous performance, tender compliance requirements will affect the decision as to which contractor will be awarded the contract.  Tender bid assessment will be completed.

 

7.   All project materials, supplies, equipment, and labor (workforce) shall be the responsibility of the contractor.

 

8.   Tender packages are available to Sagamok Anishnawbek contractors only.

Tender Submission Deadline:  Friday, November 23, 2018 at 12:00pm 

Event Date:  Thursday, December 6, 2018

Scope of CATERING Service

Catering Services are required for the Staff Christmas Luncheon which is scheduled on December 6, 2018 at 12:00pm.  The anticipated number of guests is 220.  

 

Lunch (12:00pm):

Egg Rolls

Chicken Balls

Beef and Mixed Vegetable

Chicken Fried Rice

Chicken Wings

Chicken Chow-Mein

Sweek and Sour Pork

Vegetable Lo-Mein

  1.  Must provide cutlery, plates, cups, napkins for this event.  NO STYROFOAM PRODUCTS
  2.  Must have current and valid Safe and Food Handlers Certificate and must be submitted with Bid.
  3.  Must provide servers to distribute portions.

The Economic Development Office requires Catering Services for 45 people on Friday, November 23, 2018 at 11:30am at the Sunrise Room.  

 

MENU REQUIREMENTS  

 

Lunch:

Two Soups (Chicken Dumpling and Beef Barley)

Beef and Vegetable Stew and Baked Scone

 

Dessert:

Banana and Coconut Cream Pies

 

Beverages:

Coke, Pepsi, Ginger Ale, Coffee and Tea (including sugar, no calorie sweetener, cream and milk)

  1.  Must provide cutlery (knives, forks, soup and teaspoon spoons, salt and pepper), cups, napkins, plates.  NO STYROFOAM PRODUCTS

The Sagamok Naandwedjige-Gamik, Community Wellness Department is seeking individuals to provide catering services for Two (2) days on Monday, November 26 & Tuesday, November 27, 2018 for approximately 75 people (number of people subject to change).

 

MENU REQUIREMENTS  

 

*NO PINEAPPLE, ORANGES, NUTS OR SEAFOODS*

 

Meal:  Meal (times 3)

Beverages & Snacks: Water, Juice, Tea & Coffee (2 snack breaks times 3)
