SCHOOL BUSES for Biidaaban Elementary School (4 routes) and Espanola High School (2 routes)

2018 - 2023

STUDENT TRANSPORTATION SERVICES - 5 Years

INTRODUCTION: 

The Sagamok Anishnawbek intends to secure Agreements with one or more contractors for the provision of Student Transportation Services.  Each Agreement will be for a term of Five (5) Years (consecutive school years), in accordance with approved school year calendar(s).

 

All contracts shall terminate on the last school day in accordance with approved school year calendar(s).

 

Therefore, the Sagamok Anishnawbek is requiring five (5) 70 passenger; and one (1) Special Needs buses for routes (identified below) to Biidaaban Kinoomaagegamik and Espanola High School.

 

SERVICE OBJECTIVE:

 

It is the objective of the Sagamok Anishnawbek to provide accessible transportation to all its registered and approved students in a safe, efficient and reliable manner and to ensure that the bus delivers students to school safely and on time.

 

Bus Route # 1

All of River Road from Raymond Solomon’s; River Crescent (Subdivision); Sagamok Road from River View Varity Store; New Subdivision Road; Hill area and on to Biidaaban Kinoomaagegamik.

 

Bus Route #2

All of Sagamok Road from David Southwind’s; McBean Harbour; Beaudryville; Kokoko Road; Ironwood Street; Oak Street; Star Road; Pumphouse Road and on to Biidaaban Kinoomaagegamik.

 

Bus Route # 3

All of Sagamok Road from Fort LaCloche Road; Toulouse Bay Road; Cedar Street; Wasacom Drive; Espaniel Street, Edwards Road; Archie’s Road; and on to Biidaaban Kinoomaagegamik.

 

Bus Route # 4

For the provision of special needs student transportation services to and from Biidaaban Kinoomaagegamik. 

 

Bus Route #5

All of Sagamok Road from David Southwind’s McBean Harbour, Beaudryville, Kokoko Road; Fort LaCloche Subdivision Road, Pumphouse Road, Espaniel Street, Edwards Road and on to Espanola High School

 

Bus Route # 6

New Subdivision Road, Hill area, Sagamok Road, River Road to River Crescent Subdivision, and on to Espanola High School.

 

NOTE:  Route’s may vary/change pending number of students in each identified area for pick up and safety purposes!

Tender Requirements for Submission: 

 

 

  1. Tender documents can be picked up at the Sagamok Administration office (4007 Espaniel Street)
  1. Closing date:  –  SECOND POSTING DUE AUGUST 3, 2018 @ 3:00 P.M.
  1. Must provide all information requested on School Bus Tender Information form

CATERING

Issued: Tuesday, July 12, 2018

Tender Submission Deadline:  Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 12pm noon

Event Date:  4:30 pm finger food (Hors d'oeuvres) light meal on Thursday, August 2, 2018

Graduation - August 2

Scope of Catering Servic

Catering Services are required for a finger food (Hors d’oeuvres) light meal scheduled for 4:30 p.m.  on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Sagamok Fort La Cloche .  The anticipated number of guests is 250.

 

***Due to food allergies: please ensure there are no nuts, seafood, pears, honey, pineapples, apricots, coconut or tomato.  

 

Finger Foods (Hors d'oeuvres):

Chicken wings

Sliders (individually wrapped)

Beef and chicken kabobs

Hummus with pita wedges and pepper strips

Vegetable trays

Fruit trays

Assorted meat trays with buns (mustard, butter, mayonnaise)

Desserts:

Assorted mini desserts

 

Beverages:

Coffee, Tea, Juice and Water (must be cold).  Creamer, sugar, sweetener.  

 

Tender Requirements and Submission

  1. Must have food covered with wrap or lids, kept hot or cold according to food specified.
  2. Must provide required cutlery, napkins, plates, cups – NO STYROFOAM PRODUCTS
  3. Must have current and valid Safe Food Handlers Certificate and must be submitted with Bid

Sagamok Naandwedjige-Gamik, Community Wellness Department is requesting catering services for the HEART Conference Tuesday, July 31, 2018 & Wednesday, August 1, 2018 for approximately 60 people at the Enji Wii Jii Gaabwitaadaying Agaamik (New Community Hall). 

 

*** No pineapple, citrus fruits, shellfish or peanuts

***Must provide a vegetarian and gluten-free option

  2. Must provide required cutlery, napkins, plates, cups – NO STYROFOAM PRODUCTS
  3. Must have current and valid Safe Food Handlers Certification and copy must be submitted with bid. 
  4. Please include notice if you require 50% for supplies prior to event.
