COUCH TO 5K GROUP WORKOUTS

on Mondays & Wednesdays from 4:45pm – 5:45pm at the Multi-Educational Centre Track. 

This is a 12 week Learn to Run Program that is open to all ages and all fitness levels. 

Even if you’re not interested in learning to run, come out and walk, push a stroller or Urban Poll with us instead!

"Happy Fall everyone, Now that we're getting back into routine and thinking about healthy choices again, please consider a new goal for yourself this fall

We’ve just started a couch to 5km (learn to run) program and we’re looking for participants. We’re going to start slow and work our way up to running 5km. At the beginning we’ll start by running for 1 min and then walking for 2 mins. However, all fitness levels are welcome and if you want to come out and walk the entire time we’d love to have you. Bring the entire family and make it an activity you can do together before dinner.

We’ll be exercising together Monday and Wednesday evenings from 4:45pm until 5:45pm at the absolute latest. We’ll be meeting at the track behind the Multi-Ed. Centre. The first couple weeks we may take a bit longer to get into the routine but by a few classes in we can be in and out within 40 minutes.

Bring the kids, let them play soccer on the soccer field while you walk the track or have them bring their bikes and bike along with you. Make it fun for the whole family!
